         This island locate at South China Sea and about 300km flight journey from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It is a part of Spratly Islands Area and developed by Malaysian Navy for base camp to guard the coast area. Then in the late of 1980s, government have decided to develop a resort there.

          The view is so astonishing and the underwater is rich of aquatic life including a very beautiful coral reef. This corals are so healthy and cover a very wide area. The deep acceding about 2,000m and become the most popular diving location in the world.


         You know what, this ocean also a place for a very exciting fish to watch and that is Big-Eye Trivially, Barracuda and Hammer Head shark. Interesting right for once that can come over here and take a dive in 4 great reefs around this island. If you are lucky, you can also can see a lot of migrant birds on this small island.

Layang-Layang Resort.


          At first, Avillion Layang-Layang Resort have been build on this island until 2006. Now there are a few best resort for diver to accommodate here such as Layang-Layang Island Resort. The place is very comfortable with great eye sign and great service from the hotel staff. Take the 6 days and 5 night holiday package and for sure you will satisfied with this choice. 


          This island is close from November to January as the monsoon is running and heavy rain occur almost everyday. 










Location:


          This island has the shape as an oval and it is not so big. It is 1.2km in length and only 200m wide but rise about 2km from the seabed (step wall in between).




          Stay at this one of the finest Kota Kinabalu Hotel (The Magellan Sutera Resort) before take a flight to Layang-Layamg Island. Only have three flight per week to the island in the evening.
